ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Dafna.
I’m glad you’re here.

I am originally from New Orleans and made my way to Boston to get my master’s in occupational therapy from Boston University. My occupational therapy career has led me to a variety of adult and pediatric settings and I have specialized in working with neurodiverse young adults to gain independent living skills for their transition to adulthood.

I currently live in the Boston area with my husband, Daniel and son, Ilan. When I am not working with clients, you can find me spending time outside with my family, traveling and relaxing in hammocks whenever possible.

MY STORY

As an occupational therapist, I am passionate about helping people pursue meaningful activities and supporting them in living life to the fullest.

Lack of restful sleep in parenting can feel incredibly overwhelming and hard. When I became a parent, I struggled for months to help my son fall asleep. When we finally sought support and helped him gain independent sleep skills, we were able to reclaim our lives and get the sleep we needed to feel grounded and productive. The whole family was happier as a result and I felt like a stronger, more capable parent.

I decided to become a sleep coach to help other struggling parents get the sleep they deserve. Combining my passion for sleep with my expertise in occupational therapy allows me to coach families utilizing creative problem solving and holistic interventions. I am committed to supporting parents with clarity, compassion and empathy.

LOVE NOTES

"Dafna listened carefully and recommended an approach that made sense and worked for our family."

“After struggling with sleep issues for almost 4 years with our first child, we knew we wanted to take a different path with our second. Dafna listened carefully and recommended an approach that made sense and worked for our family. Our baby took to it quickly, and we have all slept better than we have in years!”

Dafna Larson

All parents deserve better sleep.

Navigating sleep challenges with babies and toddlers can be very complicated! As a new parent, I was overwhelmed with all of the information available online and the seemingly necessary gear I needed to help my baby sleep.

During the first few months, I felt that my whole world revolved around getting my son to fall asleep and stay asleep, which would allow me to finally sleep. Sleep was all I could think about! Once we were finally able to achieve a solid sleep routine, I knew I wanted to support others in achieving the same thing.

My ultimate goal is to provide personalized, family-centered education and support to help you achieve your family's sleep goals.

Each baby is unique and there's no one size fits all approach to sleep. If you’re a new or experienced parent and are looking for better sleep for you and your family, you’ve come to the right place!
